Meet CJ Phillips, Founder & Principal: For 32 years, CJ Phillips has led organizations through the situations that strategic plans are supposed to survive: growth that strains every system, downturns that force hard choices, teams that need to become more than a collection of talented individuals. Along the way, CJ kept noticing the same two failures—plans that were technically sound but never executed, and capable people promoted into leadership with no one to develop them.
Waypoint Business Consulting exists to fix both, together. CJ pairs three decades of practitioner experience with a Doctor of Strategic Leadership (DSL) — a combination that answers the two most common objections leaders have to consultants: academics who have never led anything, and practitioners whose advice is anecdote rather than discipline.
